A Celebration of
Friends and Great Times
If the history of fly fishing were written
correctly it would start with this photo of Trimmer, Marinaro,
and Fox on the Letort. This is when they were writing their
books and experimenting with many of the flies we take for
granted today.

Here's Vince Marinaro landing a trout on the Letort in the
late 50's. Notice the Letort's grasses and the long handle net
which was used to go over the cress and minimize wading just
like their English counterparts.

Jack Hunter is the unofficial leader of the
Letort Regulars. He helped control this band of fly
anglers for nearly 30 years and we are all appreciative
of him.
